Playing career:
Started playing at young age in Greece- Played semi-professional on a junior team in Greece 1986-89.
Played both high school and Collegiate Soccer in the US - Mather High School 1989-1992
UIC 1994-96.
Played club soccer with Pegasus, Green and White, Schwaben. 1996-2004

Coaching career and Licences:
Coached with Barrington High School soccer from 1998 to present. Coached all levels.
Physical Education teacher at the elementary level 1997-present.
"D" License with US Youth Soccer Association
Master's in Exercise Physiology (UIC)

Philosophy:
Young athletes should first and foremost have fun! Knowing how to stay in the fun zone is the big secret both for coaches and players. Soccer is a beautiful sport if I can transfer my love for this sport onto any youngster I have accomplished my goal! Along the way players must follow 3 steps. They have to be honest in their work, embrace the struggle, and push through any challenge that comes along.. I coach with these two famous quotes in mind: "The important thing in life is not to triumph but to compete.
The most important thing in sports is not winning but taking part; the essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well".

Favorite teams:
Panathinaikos FC, Barcelona and Brazil.
Favorite Soccer moment: Greece winning the European Cup and Italy vs Germany game in the 2006 World Cup!!
