Marco Garcia joined F.C. Hawks Soccer Club in 2015. He brings with him over 20 years of coaching experience. During his successful coaching career he has coached at all grade levels at Walter Payton College Preparatory High School, Riverside Brookfield High School and Maine West High School while coaching for many years at Inter Chicago Soccer Club and Chicago Stars Soccer Club. During his tenure at the schools and clubs Marco has coached for he has led his teams to several state & regional titles.

Marco started playing competitive soccer as a youth in Mexico. He grew up playing for his school team in Puebla, Pue. Mexico and has played in various amateur leagues in Mexico and the US. Marco played collegiate soccer at USEF University Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas/Mexico and NCAA Division 1 soccer at UIC (University Illinois at Chicago). He holds a USSF D coaching license and is currently pursuing his C License.

Marco Garcia has been with F.C. Hawks, since November of 2014 and was initially hired as the soccer coach for the boys/girls U7/U12 and now serves as the Technical Director and Sports Performance/Fitness Coach for the club.

** Marco is the founder of the F. A.S.T. Soccer Academy. Marco’s passion for soccer has resulted in the creation of several soccer related programs; YogaSoccer and Cardiosoccer.

*** I am always striving as a coach, a player and a person to learn every day. My passion for the sport of soccer manifests itself in the training sessions that I run and the players that I coach. I encourage you to come to one of my training sessions and after participating or watching one of my training sessions, introduce yourself to me and I will share all that I know with you on how to help you to improve your game, your child’s game or just to get a better understanding of the sport and its philosophies.
